On the 10th of June 2017, the School of Arts Hall was the venue for lunch and a talk on local history and the environment organised by the Community Environment Network as part of a field study excursion.
The speaker was Peter Fisher who is currently researching all Central Coast historic rainforests, parks, waterfalls and cedar getters for a book project.
